'Welcome to Palm Springs' 16x16

Believe it or not, this welcoming Visitor's Center in Palm Springs was originally a gas station. Its roof was inspired by a Tiki hotel in Waikiki. Both styles are known for their hyperbolic paraboloid roof.

Craig created a special series just for Modernism Week. Purposefully muted, the paintings were conceived as architectural renderings. With special techniques on linen canvases, the paintings had a nostalgic feel.

The artwork is 16 inches by 16 inches in total. The archival paper print is 12 inches by 12 inches with a 16 inch x 16 inch white mat and backing. It is enclosed in a loose fitting clear bag for added protection.

Exclusive to Mr. Mann’s Design Gallery, the artwork is created and signed by the artist Craig Mann.
