An Elevated Painting Experience
I was blessed to be the final raffle winner of the Employee Appreciation/Week of WOW. The prize was a Painting Party for 3 people at Mr. Mann’s Design Gallery (owned by Craig Mann; husband of Dr. Osmundo Saguil). The party was planned for Saturday, December 4th and I invited my two local sisters (Renee & Zeta) to accompany me. I thought, what a wonderful way to celebrate Renee’s birthday and I kept the outing a surprise from both of them. All they knew was that I won the final DOHC raffle. They hounded me for weeks to tell them where we were going, but I refused. The suspense was absolutely killing them. LOL. I asked them to meet at my house, leave their cars and I drove for the remainder of the day. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Craig and Dr. Saguil (Ossie as he asked to be called) and handed a very refreshing beverage.
We then entered the beautiful reception area and I finally told my sisters that the event was a painting party. They were both thrilled as they had never attended one before and they had the time of their life. The brunch buffet was amazing filled with delicious appetizers and it gave us so many ideas of items to make for our upcoming family gathering. The painting theme was ‘Paris’ and we were then presented with French Berets along with an embroidered painters apron when we entered the paint studio. When Dr. Saguil learned that Renee would be celebrating her birthday, he arranged to serve delicious cupcakes decorated with the Eiffel tower to help celebrate her special day. They were the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. We were wined, dined, and pampered. We laughed, we cried and we made memories that will last forever. Every minute was so enjoyable and there is nothing they could have done differently to enhance the day. Renee said it was her best birthday ever! I have attended other paint parties but this one by far tops them all. Thank you DOHC, Dr. Saguil & Craig Mann for the love you made us feel. I wish that every DOHC employee could experience what we felt during those 2 ½ hours. Here are a few photos from Saturday. Thank you!
'Palm Springs Inspiring' Art Exhibit
Mr. Mann's first solo art exhibition in Palm Springs starts February 1- February 28, 2021 at the Stephen Baumbach Gallery. The art is inspired by the vistas and lifestyles of Palm Springs. From desert sand to mountain snow, from mid-century to twenty-first century, from natural to manmade, the exhibit reflects the diversity of this unique community in the Southern California desert.
Mr. Craig Mann draws his talent from this interior design career. His patrons have even asked him to design their interiors around their acquitions!

t was a second marriage for both of us, I was excited about getting married but not looking forward to planning it. I had discussed a destination wedding with my fiancé as we wanted to keep it small. But that would have been too expensive for some family members so we decided to keep the ceremony local.
I told my sister I wanted to have a "surprise wedding" meaning I would just show up and celebrate with family and friends, but leave the planning details to someone else. She was more than willing to take on the challenge to create the first ever "surprise wedding". She planned almost every detail, right down to selecting my wedding dress and the bridal parties' attire. My only request was to keep it causal, we wanted everyone to have fun and simply celebrate with us. I had really hoped to get married on the beach with sand between my toes.
She enlisted the help of Mr. Mann's Design for all the wedding ceremony and reception decorations and event planning.
It was awesome to walk down the aisle (which appeared to be sand and sea shells) and take it all in for the first time. I was kept in the dark right up until the time of the ceremony. They knew I wanted a beach wedding so they brought the island beach to me. The lighting and remarkable detail made it feel as if we were on the beach somewhere. The canvas backdrop Craig painted was unbelievable and we will cherish it forever as a keepsake from our special day. The room was absolutely beautiful and we have had so many compliments on both the wedding ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend Mr. Mann's Design to anyone who wants a stress free event planned for any occasion. They made my wedding day better than I could have ever imagined. Thanks Craig, you created a wedding day we will always remember.

It is with great pleasure that we write this testimonial for Craig Mann. We could not be more delighted with the beautiful furnishings and finishes that Craig selected for our Scottsdale home. Craig appointed every inch of our new Spanish Colonial style 4600 sq. ft. house, creating a stunning, but comfortable, interior living environment. He transformed our front courtyard and back patios, designing intimate seating areas for viewing spectacular desert sunsets, a cozy conversation area around the fireplace and a resort-style setting around the pool and fire pit.
